Hotel Near JECC Jaipur: Stay Guide for Exhibitors and Trade Fair Visitors

By Royal City Guest House · Updated August 2026 · 7 min read

The Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre, known to everyone as JECC, sits at the exhibition ground in the RIICO Industrial Area, Sitapura, Sanganer, Jaipur 302022. It is a 42 acre venue with two large pillarless exhibition halls and a convention centre with a ballroom and a set of meeting rooms, and it hosts most of Jaipur's serious trade fairs.

If you are exhibiting there, you already know the stay problem. The venue is on the southern edge of the city, so hotels adjacent to it are limited and get expensive the moment a big fair is announced. Booking in the old city means an hour each way twice a day, carrying stall material through Jaipur traffic. What you want is a room in the nearest normal neighbourhood with a straight run down to the ground.

Royal City Guest House at 8/270 Jawahar Circle, Malviya Nagar is about 11 km from JECC, roughly 25 to 35 minutes by cab, on the same south Jaipur side as the venue. Rooms from ₹999 a night, free on-site parking including for a vehicle carrying display material, food on site so you can eat at odd exhibition hours, GST invoice for your firm, and a front desk staffed 24 hours for the nights when dismantling runs late.

Book Rooms for Your Fair Week

Tell us the fair and your dates. Stall teams booking more than one room should call so we can hold them together.

What Happens at JECC Through the Year

JECC runs a steady calendar of trade fairs across sectors. Jaipur's jewellery trade produces two of the biggest, and packaging, printing, decor and agriculture shows fill much of the rest. Announced 2026 events at the venue have included the Jewellers Association Show in July, ACE Reflect and Bharat Pack Expo in July, the Jaipur Jewellery Show in December, Harit Bharat Expo and Decor India Show in January, and PRINTPACK Rajasthan in February.

Always confirm dates with the organiser, since fair calendars shift. What matters for planning is the pattern: the two jewellery shows and the December window are the weeks when rooms across south Jaipur become genuinely hard to find.

Book early for the jewellery shows

The Jaipur Jewellery Show in December and the Jewellers Association Show in July both bring in exhibitors and buyers from across India and abroad. Rooms in Malviya Nagar, Tonk Road and the Sitapura side get taken well ahead, and last minute rates in the area go up sharply. If your stall allotment or buyer registration is confirmed, book the room the same week. It costs nothing to hold a room here and you will not be hunting at 11 PM the night before build-up.

Planning Your Fair Days

Build-up day

Exhibitors usually get one or two days before the fair opens to build the stall, unpack, arrange displays and get the lighting and power sorted. This is the longest day of the trip and it often ends late. Book your room from the build-up day, not the opening day, because sleeping in the car or driving back to another city between setup and opening is a bad trade.

Fair days

Halls typically open to visitors mid-morning and run to evening, with exhibitors expected at the stall earlier. From Malviya Nagar, leaving by about 8:30 AM for a 10 AM hall opening is comfortable on a normal day. On opening morning add fifteen to twenty minutes, because the roads approaching the ground get congested with visitor vehicles and the parking queue builds.

Dismantling day

The last day ends with packing up, which regularly runs past 9 or 10 PM. Our front desk is staffed all night, so a late return is not a problem. If you need the room until the evening on your final day so you can shower and change before a night train or flight, ask about late checkout the day before.

Travel Times From Jawahar Circle

RouteApproximate distanceTypical time
Guest house to JECC exhibition groundAbout 11 km25 to 35 min by cab
Guest house to Sitapura Industrial AreaAbout 8 to 10 km20 to 30 min
Guest house to Jaipur International AirportAbout 12 km25 to 30 min
Guest house to Durgapura Railway StationAbout 1 km5 min
Guest house to Jaipur Junction Railway StationAbout 10 km25 to 35 min
Guest house to World Trade Park, JLN MargAbout 4 kmAbout 10 min

The useful thing about this position is that the airport and Durgapura station are both on your side of the city. Many exhibitors fly in with samples and fly out the night the fair closes. From Jawahar Circle that is a half hour run, not a cross-city gamble.

What Exhibitors Actually Need From a Room

Food at exhibition hours

Fair days destroy normal meal timing. You skip lunch because a buyer walked in, and you get back at 10 PM having eaten nothing since a chai at eleven. Our on-site restaurant serves home-style Indian food through the day with meals from around ₹80, and the kitchen can hold something for a late return if you call ahead.

Free parking, including for material

Parking is free and on-site, and that includes the car or small tempo carrying your display panels and sample cartons. Tell the desk when you arrive with material so unloading can be done without blocking the lane. Vehicles can stay parked overnight at no charge.

Rooms for a stall team

Most exhibitors travel with two to four people. Family rooms with multiple beds start from ₹1,399, which is usually cheaper than two standard rooms, and standard rooms are ₹999 each if the team wants space. There are ten rooms in total, so a team booking is a phone call rather than an app transaction. Call and we will hold them together on the same floor where possible.

A quiet place to actually sleep

Our lane at Jawahar Circle is set back from the main road. Rooms are AC with private bathroom, hot water, TV, daily housekeeping and free WiFi. After three days on a hall floor, the difference between six hours of real sleep and six hours of traffic noise decides how well you sell on the last day.

A GST invoice for the firm

Exhibition travel is a business expense and the paperwork should not be an afterthought. Give the firm name, address and GSTIN at check-in and a GST invoice is prepared for checkout. Ask at check-in rather than at the end, so the details are right the first time.

Visiting a Fair Rather Than Exhibiting

If you are attending as a buyer or trade visitor rather than running a stall, your needs are simpler but the room still matters. You will be walking a very large hall for six to eight hours a day. Staying 11 km from the venue on the same side of the city with free parking and food on site, at ₹999 a night, leaves your budget for the actual purpose of the trip.

And unlike a hotel stuck next to the exhibition ground, Malviya Nagar is a real neighbourhood. Chemists, ATMs, courier offices, restaurants and shops are within walking distance, Patrika Gate and Jawahar Circle Garden are a two minute walk if you want air in the evening, and World Trade Park is about ten minutes away if a client wants to meet somewhere in the city.
